2015-2016 school year reflection of Graphic Design

The floaty light is a group project focused on the five guarantees; of which we mainly focused on project management, collaboration, communication, and technical skills. Our management we got our project done and ready to print on time. For we as a group we easily agree on what our project should be, the cartons shape and the logo that we put on it. Also, we think the graphic placements are spectacular as well. Communication was a key part of the process during the project, as the group had to agree on ideas before moving on. Additionally, technical skills come into play during any part of the process, as errors may be encountered, and ideas must be tested to work. For us to be able to collaborate we had to agree on what it was we were going to do first; which we did rather well in our group. With all of our technical skills combined we eventually came out with the box for our product the floaty light and its box.

Masks

These are the masks I done with in the tutorial and I had did it with cropping, blend in the titles on the picture, changing the color, shadow, and blur towards the picture itself too. For one the Scuba is crop and added the title"SCUBA". The corn is give granite shade, color it in, and add title"Corn". the bird is crop and added title "BIRD PO". The blur picture is crop, blur around the picture and title "Fun Time".  

Object shadows

The object shadow was a good process to know the difference on how to make a object on screen to reflect in a real life shadow effect on object itself. The object I used was a basketball. It has reflection from light to making of the shadow underneath the ball. The ball also has a title called "Be the Ball".

This is one of my professional logo made by a tutorial on a video by https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DRJs6nJAZ2c. I had put up the logo with my initials bottom of the logo.  

My personal logo/tutorial

My logo was started by the title of the font I used was Lucida fax for my name. Next the colors are purple,dark purple,and black. Shapes on my logo is a rectangle and a triangle. My motto is "Life Is A Challenge". It means that what you are doing here is working hard at work that it may seemed to be difficult,but will get with its process. The rectangle represents structure in a working view, and the triangle shows the climb to achievements on top like a mountain would.

Tutorial 


1. the shape 
The start of my logo was the shapes I'd used to get the theme of my logo to what it looks. The rectangle represents the structure of working hard during work. the triangle represents the levels of achieving a goal to the top, like the top of a mountain. The way I did it first was the rectangle tool, then stretch it down to give shape. Then I used the polygon tool to make a triangle, then put it on the triangle in the middle and group them together.

2. the font
The font I'd used is Lucida Fax for both my name and motto on it. First I type the text, large it to fit with the size of the shapes. The motto i leave it below my name small.

3. colour
The color I blend in with purple to mixture of dark purple on both my shapes and lettering.

The paintings are my choice of color I'd added to the pictures. The first one is the pallet painter, and it was mixed in certain colors to the color paste. Also the same color that I added was the same color used, but mixed in different light to dark colors with different size brushes in the brush tool.The picture was added to a cool wet and dry brush effect on the option key in the brush tool to the sky, trees, and grass too. But both of them are to different looks, but the same tools I'd used to make them with.

Creative drawing

Tutorial:The tutorial I did first. I got the skill to use the polygon tool, and using the l've paint bucket to change the colors of the pencil, Also to use the arrow key tool to keep the Project as I wanted to be.

Customize mechanical pencil: The mechanical pencil I built is the one on the right side of the tutorial project to show mine own customize project, but used the same tools as a used for my pencil.

Main project: The first customize piece I really did was the Iron Throne with a crone above it. It is above the two other projects I did. The Main tools I used were the polygon tool, the line tool, and the live paint tool.Including the arrow key to help my difficult project.

Whats graphic design

                                             The like of graphic design

What is graphic design? Graphic design is base off of the concept, the idea and the life in graphic design. Concept is the using of words of images, idea is the the choice of the person in action, and life  that impacts on the designs. It must have a new thing of interest for some people. Graphic design is  helpful to people of life in the just of the unexpected use. Also it haves a theory in our knowing to interact to the product or symbol.

Shoe wallet

This group project with my group was an challenge and different then my other videos. This commercial was a good steady commercial for all audience to watch. My group was creative, helpful, and cooperative with each other too. I was the one who gave the ideas to the commercial and was on the sidelines to keep the group together. The tools I used was the blade tool, the range tool, the trim tool, and added music too. Enjoy!

The Chase

6 shots system

This project was a beginners start on the 6 shots system.To me it was a fun, stressful. and a challenge for a freshman like me.I had to be specific on this video for this to work for me,and my partner. Now what tools i use? Well I use cut and trim tool in order to make my video shorter,and less choppy. The shots I used were the wide shot, medium shot, close up, and the extra wide shot too. Over all this was a interesting project that I had done and hopefully my next video will be better!

About my logo

• My logo is suppose to represent what it is comfortable for the consumer, and why it might interest someone. 
•  The image is showing the darkness with the color red as fire from the lord of the rings of the eye of sauron, and the yellow circle is the one ring. 
• The process of making this logo was the tools of adobe illustrator, wish were the rectangle tool,and text tool. Also the option selection were the color guide, transparency, and appearance. 
• The challenge was to make sure it is even and in the center. Also to only choose two colors in the logo too.But I change them to what I wanted to be, also I fixed the errors I made, and made it look better. 
• Their could be details Ive miss, but I think they are not going to be a problem with my logo.
